Eventually we decided that releasing a remaster in honor of Fate’s 20th Anniversary would be the perfect way to bring the nostalgic franchise back into the limelight.

Strange to think that the original game was built with old 4:3 CRT monitors in mind, but it’s a good reminder how much things have changed (and how much has stayed the same) over the past twenty years. Mostly it just makes me feel old.

While PAX West gave us a nice broad mix of players both new and old, we knew we needed to please hardcore fans if we had any chance of getting this remaster to land properly.
